We’d like to let you know that Plympton Swimming Pool will be temporarily closed from 11th May to 16th May 2026 to carry out essential maintenance works.
Some of the poolside tiles throughout the facility need to be replaced, and in order to complete this work safely and efficiently, a short closure is necessary. Unfortunately, the nature of the repairs means they cannot be carried out while the pool is open, as they involve disruption such as noise, dust, and work in key access areas.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and really appreciate your understanding while we carry out these improvements. These works will help us maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Alternative Arrangements
During the closure period:
- The gym and shower facilities will remain open as usual
- All members will have the option to use swimming facilities at the Plymouth Life Centre
- Swimming lesson participants will be provided replacement sessions, you will receive a direct message with information on how to book. Customers can book these replacement sessions at Plymouth Life Centre or Plympton Swimming Pool.
