Start Your Fitness Journey at the Plymouth Life Centre
Get started at Plymouth Life Centre, Plymouth’s premier fitness and swimming facility and one of the country’s leading sporting venues. The Plymouth Life Centre is so much more than a sports centre – as well as housing one of the top purpose built indoor climbing walls in the country and a versatile 12 court sports hall, it features one of the city’s largest fitness centres (with 150 individual stations stations and an extensive group exercise programme in 3 dedicated studios). Our aquatic facilities are also second-to-none. There’s an Olympic-size swimming pool, a toddler pool with waterslides and one of the country’s leading diving pools, which is home to British Olympian Tonia Couch and, previously, Tom Daley. Additionally there is an 8-rink indoor bowls hall, squash courts, a creche, cafe and retail area.

Fitness
Our 150-station fitness centre is one of the largest facilities of its type in Plymouth, and boasts state-of-the-art TechnoGym cardio and resistance equipment. There is also a large free-weights area for you to use. Our friendly trainers and instructors are on hand to assist with your workout and help you reach your goals.

Swimming Pools
With a choice of three indoor pools – an Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool, a diving pool, and a toddler pool – you and your family will be spoiled for choice at the Plymouth Life Centre. Whether you’re looking for a pool to improve your fitness or somewhere you can take your baby swimming, we have you covered. Furthermore, you can also take advantage of our child and adult swimming lessons.

Climbing Wall
With a variety of different routes suitable for climbers of all ages and abilities, as well as a number of different sessions to suit everyone, you’re sure to love the challenge.

Our limitless 12-court sports hall can be separated into three sections, with rebound walls and curtains to accommodate a variety of sports and activities simultaneously.

Diving lessons
Ever dreamt of being an Olympic Diver? The Life Centre is the perfect venue for you to take your first steps into diving. Diving is great for improving flexibility, core strength and posture and is an excellent sport to give a go if you fancy a new challenge.

A wide range of retail products available to purchase in-centre.
Cafe
Our on-site café has an extensive menu offering a wide range of delicious snacks, healthy meals and hot and cold drinks. There is also a number of vending machines around the building where you can also purchase snacks and drinks.
