Plymouth Active Leisure Celebrates National Fitness Awards Finalist Success
Plymouth Active Leisure and Plymouth Life Centre are celebrating national recognition after being shortlisted across multiple categories at the 2026 National Fitness Awards.
Plymouth Life Centre has been named a finalist in both Local Authority/ Leisure Trust Gym of the Year and Best Aquatic Based Facilities, recognising the centre’s commitment to delivering outstanding fitness, swimming and wellbeing services for the people of Plymouth.
The success continues for Plymouth Active Leisure, with the organisation shortlisted for Gym Team of the Year, highlighting the dedication, professionalism and passion shown by colleagues across its facilities every day.
Adding to the celebrations, Marcia Macey has been recognised as a finalist in the prestigious Member Achievement Award, showcasing the inspiring stories and positive impact physical activity can have on people’s lives.
