Plymouth Active Leisure is looking for a motivated and passionate Team Leader to join our outdoor pools lifeguarding team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and play a key role in supporting health and safety operations, driving high standards of customer service, and leading and managing the lifeguard team. If you're enthusiastic about keeping people safe in and around the water while helping create a safe, welcoming environment for all visitors, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Description:

  • Be able to take on the role of Duty Manger when needed.
  • Provide safe and effective pool supervision
  • Be able to lead and motivate a diverse team, fully embracing our company values
  • Be focused on high customer service standards
  • Ensure high levels of cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained within the centre
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management and deadline compliance

What We’re Looking For:

  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Required)
  • Pool Plant Operator (Required)
  • First Aid at Work Qualification (Desirable)

Hours: Flexibility across day, evening and weekend work, including public holidays.

Salary: Hourly (Competitive)
