Key Responsibilities:
- Helping guests and creating positive experiences
- Operate Food & Beverage outlets the Tinside way
- Manage all bills and payments correctly
- Serve and prepare food, clean, tidy, restock, take deliveries and organise back of house areas
- Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely
- Supporting other Team Members and follow direction from Duty Managers
- Promote and support Plymouth Active Leisure values and brand.
- To assist with events for both layup and service
- Support larger events on both bar service and clean up
Person Specification:
Essential:
- High energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
- Good with people and enjoy chatting with guests
- Skilled multi tasker who can balance hard work with great service
- Knows being relaxed isn’t the same as being lazy
- Clear communicator
- Maintain a professional image by being respectful, helpful, and courteous
- Deal competently with dietary requirements and allergens, as instructed by Line Manager.
- Support other departments as required as part of a ‘one team’ approach
Desirable:
- Experience within the service industry (1 year)
- Knowledge of tills and payment systems
- Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
- Personal experience of the hospitality industry
