Wellbeing Support
Looking after your mind is just as important as looking after your body.
The 5 Ways to Wellbeing are the five everyday areas of life that bring the biggest boost to happiness. Building these simple things into our daily lives can make a big difference to our health and happiness.

Wellbeing Hubs
Wellbeing Hubs can help connect you with local organisations, information and activities that can help support your overall wellbeing. The friendly staff at the Wellbeing Hubs can help you with a range of issues and have a great knowledge of activities, groups and support in their local area. They provide health advocacy, debt advice, mental health support, opportunities to volunteer, employment advice and signposting of local and citywide providers of health services. There are currently 6 hubs in Plymouth with more planned for the future.
Volunteering
Volunteering can offer help to people in need, your local community and good causes, but the benefits can be even greater for you as the volunteer. Volunteering can help you make friends, connect with others, learn new skills, improve your career prospects, and feel happier and healthier. There are lots of different ways to get involve; supporting one-off events, helping in museums, libraries and parks or working behind the scenes to support local organisations. Volunteering doesn’t have to be a long-term commitment or take a huge amount of time.
